Your IP information
When you log on to our website your IP (Internet Protocol) address registers on our servers. Your IP address reveals no information other than the number assigned to you. We use this information only to monitor traffic on our website.

Cookies

When you visit Services For Education’s website, a cookie identifies and tracks your visit to collect statistical information. These cookies tell us what web pages have been visited, or how many times certain pages have been visited.

This type of cookie also makes your visit easier, for example remembering you as you make an order from us, so you don’t have to re-enter details. These ‘session cookies’ are deleted when you leave our site.

These ‘first party’ cookies have no way of identifying you. They aren’t tied to personally identifiable information and can’t be used retrospectively to track you.

When you view pages on our website and select the option of ‘remember me’, a cookie will be placed on your computer that will remember your computer’s details. The cookie doesn’t identify you as an individual, just the computer you used, to make using the website easier for you next time.

You may also notice some cookies that aren’t from Services For Education, and these are explained below.

If you’d prefer to avoid any of these, you should delete cookies after your visit. Or you could use your browser’s anonymous usage setting, such as ‘Incognito’ in Chrome, ‘InPrivate’ in Internet Explorer, ‘Private Browsing’ in Firefox and Safari.

Website Security

We maintain a high level of physical and electronic security to keep your data safe. We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information given over the internet. All your personal information, including credit card numbers, bank account details and name and address, is encrypted.  This process takes the words and figures you enter and converts them into bits of code that are then securely transmitted over the internet

Your payments via debit or credit card are handled directly by our payment processing partner.

While we make every reasonable effort to ensure that information sent to us is done so securely, we cannot warrant the security of information transmitted to us through the internet. When you transmit information to us via the internet, you do so at your own risk.

Emails

Some service emails like invoices have no tracking. We do track other emails at an individual level, for example to see whether the email has been opened or clicked on. We only use this information to understand open and click rates on our emails to try and improve them and the content you receive from us.
